I remember the moment — the very first time I stepped out onto a stage seven years ago. I was so nervous. I remember shaking so much in the wings that I had to hold on to the proscenium. The first step felt like a leap of faith in slow motion. But then, I felt the stage lights on my face and everything went silent. My head cleared, and I was at peace. I learned at that moment, what a moment feels like. At that moment, I understood the value of presence.
